One Stanley Avenue Restaurant and Three Stanley Avenue Bed & Breakfast are located in Kingfield, Maine, a quaint Victorian village at the gateway to the western mountains. Within a 45 minute drive one can view numerous mountains including six peaks over 4,000 feet.
The Carrabassett River flows out of the mountains through the center of town, where it forms a mill pond. In winter, the bridge which spans the river is lighted with hundreds of lights - when the pond is used for skating a real Currier and Ives feeling is evoked. From our facility it's a short walk across the bridge to the center of town where shops and restaurants can be found.
We are also located near many winter activities. Sugarloaf Mountain Ski Resort is only fifteen miles north of Kingfield and is one of the finest ski areas in the east. Behind our facility one can enter an extensive snowmobile trail system that goes for hundreds of miles.
