The Stanley Museum
Established in 1981, the Stanley Museum contains examples of steam cars manufactured in 1905, 1910, and 1916 by F.O. and F.E. Stanley, as well as violins, paintings, air brush portraits, the country's largest collections of Chansonetta Stanley Emmons' photography, and family archives. The Wire Bridge
The Wire Suspension Bridge spanning the Carrabassett River in New Portland is a unique structure, the only survivor of four such bridges built in Maine in the 1800's and probably the only such bridge still standing in the US.
